She holds a Bachelor of Science in Studio Arts from Lincoln University, PA, and a Master’s of Education degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Maryland.

She holds an American Montessori Society (AMS) Certification in Infant -Toddler (0-3) Montessori, and is currently pursuing the Montessori Administrator Programme with AMS. She is a toddler Montessori teacher with Barrie School, Silver Spring, USA, and a Montessori Adult learner instructor with IAMS, MD. Sherita is an innovator, creator, and motivator of her colleagues, adult learners, and students, and she enjoys learning new teaching skills and techniques where she can enhance her ability to express clear problem-solving skills. She continues to build on proven experience in creating and designing a Montessori philosophy and pedagogically driven classroom
